Superbe statue d'ancêtre Singiti HEMBA.
Le peuple Hemba vit dans l'est du Congo Rdc, entre le fleuve Lualaba (fleuve Congo), à l'ouest, et le lac Tanganyka, à l'est
Leur territoire s'articule autour de la rivière Luika qui délimite les Hemba du nord et ceux du sud. Ils sont donc présents dans le sud de la province du Maniema ainsi que dans le nord de la province du Tanganyka
Ils sont géographiquement et culturellement proches des Luba
Leurs effigies d'ancêtres en bois sont célèbres. Elles dégagent une impression de grande sérénité.
