Rare Bali / Ndaaka mask
The Bali people (or Baali) live in the province of Ituri, north of the Kumu (or Komo) A little to the west live the Ndaka (or Ndaaka) to whom they are related.
The cover of Marc Léo Félix's excellent book "Masks in Congo" is illustrated with a similar Ndaka mask. See also page 288-289 - 290 -291
